FAQs

What is included in my Cloudberry membership?

Included in your annual Cloudberry fee, you’ll receive:

  • Annual visits
  • Routine follow-up
  • Sick visits
  • Coordination of care, including communication with specialist, referrals for labwork and imaging
  • Direct 24/7 access via my personal number, as well as access to a care coordinator.

What does my insurance pay for?

Insurance pays for emergency room visits, hospitalizations, imaging and other testing including labs. To keep membership fees manageable, we bill insurance for office visits and other services.

What ages do you treat?

I mainly treat adult patients and teenagers. As part of your membership, your children can be treated by others in the practice who specialize in pediatrics.

What happens if you are not available?

That’s a great benefit of the Cloudberry practice! We have excellent providers who are available in case I am not, including Dr. Josiah Child MD (my supervising physician), Dr. Rachel Goodman OB/GYN, Dr. Clea Lopez MD, and  Leora Shein FNP.

Is a doctor available if we need one?

Dr. Josiah Child is my supervising physician. In New Mexico, the medical Board under the direction of the legislature has made it possible for physician assistants with at least two years of experience to practice primary care independently. However, I prefer to work in a collaborative manner with physician supervision.

What insurance do you take?

We take most insurance including Medicare. Please contact our office to verify coverage.
